Tattoo Idea #9. Memorial to my son and “Compostable” by Tominda of SuperGenius
Location: Seattle, Washington
Story: "My son died on 30 April 2023 from cirrhosis. He had made 1000 paper cranes and so making them was sort of his “trademark.” Tominda’s was his tattoo artist and so I commissioned her for this exactly a month after he left but wasn’t able to get it touched up until today. My son’s body was composted (as was my mother’s more recently) and Tom recommended the “Compostable” tattoo of her design for Earth Day. Sorry I didn’t have anyone to take the pictures which is why my body is skewed. Take care of your bodies, it’s yours for life!"
